Why did I start this blog? Because Engineers are known for their smarts but not necessarily for their ability to communicate effectively. I think it doesn’t have to be that way. What’s more, I’m convinced that your success, even in a technical field, is directly proportional to your ability to connect with an audience.
There was a time when speaking in front of people made me sick to my stomach. Maybe that’s where you are now. Well I’m here to tell you that you can overcome that. I’m an Engineer and I’ve had to learn how to speak before a group of people. Sometimes that group is small and sometimes that group is large. The size of the group doesn’t matter. What matters is that you get comfortable with delivering your message because the world needs to hear it.
